In Donostia/San Sebastián the original route of the Topo (Mole) Railway through the Morlans Tunnel was switched to the Lugaritz Tunnel. Now trainless, the old route was converted into a cycle path to complete the bidegorri cycle network of Donostia, connecting the Ribera del Urumea area of Donostia with the university campus. The Morlans Tunnel is the starring feature of a practical subterranean greenway, which holds the record for being the longest urban tunnel for bicycles in Europe.

The Morlans Tunnel Greenway forms part of the bidegorri/cycle path network of the city of San Sebastian. This network is connected to the Arditurri Greenway and will soon be connected to the Plazaola Greenway as well via Lasarte-Oria-Urnieta-Andoain.
